Is the plugin self-hosted on my WordPress server?
Yes. The plugin lives in your own WordPress installation. Cryptoway provides the payment API and the hosted checkout — your WooCommerce store stays under your control.
How do refunds work?
Crypto refunds depend on the merchant workflow. On-chain transactions are irreversible after broadcast, so refunds are typically processed as a new outgoing transaction from your merchant wallet.
Can I accept multiple cryptocurrencies?
Yes. You can enable BTC, USDT, ETH and other supported assets in the plugin settings. Network availability depends on your Cryptoway account configuration.
Do I need PCI compliance or extra KYC?
Your customers never enter card data, so PCI scope does not apply. Production Cryptoway accounts require merchant KYB review depending on risk and jurisdiction.
How do webhooks update WooCommerce order status?
Cryptoway sends HMAC-signed webhook events when a payment is detected, confirmed or expired. The plugin verifies the signature and updates the matching WooCommerce order accordingly.
