Three steps to your first crypto sale
You need an active project in the Cryptoway dashboard and the plugin itself. Every store setting fits on a single page.
Install the plugin
Search the WordPress plugin directory for Cryptoway for Easy Digital Downloads, or upload the archive yourself. Easy Digital Downloads should already be active.
Turn on the payment method
Under Downloads → Settings → Payments, paste the keys, save, and tick Cryptoway. There is no test mode, so run a real order of about 5 USDT to check everything.
What a digital goods store gets
The plugin sits inside the regular Easy Digital Downloads checkout and makes sure no file leaves the store unpaid.
Files only after full payment
Downloads open once Cryptoway confirms the whole amount. If a buyer underpays, the order is put on hold and its history shows how much is missing.
Orders complete on their own
The plugin checks the amount and currency against the invoice and marks the order Completed. If a payment notice is late, it rechecks the invoice within ten minutes.
Payment details on the order
Coin, invoiced and received amounts, transfer hash and payment deadline appear right on the order, next to a button for checking the status by hand.
Crypto sales report
A Cryptoway section in the admin shows revenue, payment count, average order value and a split by coin. Export any period to CSV.
Checkout in your site's languages
Set the payment method name and the line below it for each language on your site, so every buyer reads them in their own.
Fees from 0.3%, optional markup
The plugin costs nothing. In the Cryptoway dashboard you choose who pays the fee and whether to add a markup to the invoice.

Questions from store owners
When does the buyer get the file?
As soon as Cryptoway confirms the full amount. The plugin marks the order Completed and the buyer lands on the confirmation page with access to the files. It usually takes seconds.
What if the buyer pays too little or runs out of time?
An underpaid order goes On Hold, files stay locked and the history notes how much is missing. If the rest arrives before the deadline, the order becomes paid. If time runs out with no payment, the order closes as unpaid.
Where do I get the Project ID and Secret key?
In the Cryptoway dashboard: open Projects, pick your project and click API keys. Keys only work from the address they were first used from, so give each store its own project.
How do I refund a buyer?
Refunds are not automatic. You send the buyer a new payout from your balance in the Cryptoway dashboard. When someone overpays noticeably, the plugin writes the amount to return into the order history.
How much does it cost?
The plugin is free. Cryptoway charges from 0.3% per payment, with the exact rate set by your monthly volume. In the project settings you decide whether you or the buyer covers the fee.
