iEXExchanger integration

Crypto payments for exchangers on iEXExchanger

The Cryptoway merchant already ships with the script, so all it takes is your project keys. The exchanger gets a payment address, sees the funds arrive and moves the order to the next status on its own.

Setting up the merchant

There is nothing to install: Cryptoway is already in the iEXExchanger module list. You need a project in the Cryptoway dashboard and its keys.

Create a Cryptoway project

Sign up, open Projects, click New project and enter the project name, your exchanger's site and a contact. Once a manager approves it and the project is Active, copy the Project ID and Secret key from API keys.

Add the merchant

In the iEXExchanger admin open “Merchants and API” → “Merchant list”, click “Add” and pick Cryptoway. Put the Project ID into API Key ID and the Secret key into API Key Secret, leave Callback Key empty and choose a currency code that includes the network.

Bind it to a currency and test

Under “Main” → “Currencies” → “Currency list”, open the currency and select Cryptoway as the merchant in its automation section. Then run a test order for a small amount.

How the merchant handles orders

The merchant covers the whole intake, from the client's payment address to the order status change.

Already in your admin

Cryptoway sits in the iEXExchanger merchant list. There are no files to upload to the server: you pick the module and configure it in the admin.

Payment address on request

When an order is created, the exchanger asks Cryptoway for an address, and the client sends funds to it on the chosen network.

Orders move forward by themselves

iEXExchanger passes the order ID to Cryptoway to link the payment to it. Once the payment is confirmed, the order goes to the next status and the transaction hash is saved.

Each coin on its own network

The merchant works with several blockchain networks: USDT on TRC20 or BEP20, BNB on BEP20. If you accept one currency on several networks, add a separate copy of the merchant for each.

Automatic and manual checks

Incoming funds are checked automatically, and you can check a payment manually when needed. Every request shows up in the merchant request log under “Event log”.

Amounts net of the fee

The order receives the amount credited to your Cryptoway balance after the fee, which starts from 0.3%. Factor it in when you configure the direction.

What it needs

There is no separate module version: the merchant is part of iEXExchanger. What matters is the right network and server access.

iEXExchanger merchant questions

Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The Cryptoway merchant is built into iEXExchanger: add it in the merchant list, enter your project keys and bind it to a currency.
What happens to an order once the client pays?
Cryptoway registers the funds on the issued address. Once the payment is confirmed, iEXExchanger moves the order to the next status and saves the transaction hash.
Why is the credited amount lower than the transfer?
The exchanger counts the amount that reached your Cryptoway balance after the service fee, so it can differ from the sum sent on the blockchain. Account for the fee, from 0.3%, and the minimum deposit for the chosen currency when you set up the direction.
Where are the keys, and why do the fields have other names?
The Project ID and Secret key are on your project page in the Cryptoway dashboard, under API keys. iEXExchanger still uses the old field names, API Key ID and API Key Secret. Keys only work from the IP of the first request, so clear Allowed IPs if your server address changes.
How do I check the merchant before going live?
Create a test order and make sure an address appears on the right network. Send a small amount, wait for the status to change and compare the order amount with what was credited to your Cryptoway balance. Request details are in the “Event log”.
