A button on your page in three steps

You do not need a separate store. A WordPress site and a Cryptoway project are enough.

Get your keys

Create a project for your site in the Cryptoway dashboard. Once it shows Active, open API keys and copy the Project ID and Secret key.

Install Cryptoway Payment

Search the WordPress plugin directory for Cryptoway, or upload the archive. In Settings, paste the keys and pick the currency your prices are in.

Add the button

In the block editor, add the Cryptoway Payment block, set the amount and what happens after payment. A shortcode covers the classic editor, widgets and page builders.

What the button can do

Three ways to get paid with no cart, no product catalogue and no checkout.

Price, donation or access

Charge a set amount for a service, accept donations with suggested amounts, or sell access to material on the page.

Payment right on your page

Visitors pay on the Cryptoway page or stay on yours: the coin, address and QR code appear under the button.

Paid content behind a lock

Put your material in the block's hidden area and it opens after payment. You can limit access to a set period, such as 30 days.

Prices in your currency

You set the button amount in your own currency, US dollars by default. Visitors see the amount in their chosen coin when they pay.

Every payment in one list

Payments are collected in one Payments screen, and the ones that need your call are flagged needs review. Turn on emails to hear about each payment.

Fees from 0.3%

The plugin is free and Cryptoway takes from 0.3% per payment. Money lands on your balance in the Cryptoway dashboard, and refunds are sent from there.

Download the plugin

The archive installs from the WordPress admin panel. The setup guide walks through every step.

Questions about the button

What does the visitor see after paying?
The button is replaced by a thank you message confirming the payment, and the payment turns Paid in your list. If the button sells access, the hidden part of the page opens right away. You can edit visitor messages under Payment statuses.
The money was sent, but the payment still says waiting. What now?
Open the payment under Payments and click Check with Cryptoway. If that updates it, make sure your site is reachable from the internet and that no security plugin is stopping Cryptoway from reporting payments.
How does a visitor open paid content on another device?
Under the button there is a link for people who have already paid. It emails access to the address they paid with. One more thing: take paid content off your pages before you deactivate the plugin, or everyone will see it.
How do I refund someone?
The money sits on your balance in the Cryptoway dashboard, and a refund is a new payout sent from there. Nothing goes back on its own. If a payment is flagged needs review, check its history and the amount in the dashboard first.
What does it cost, and how do I test it?
The plugin is free, and Cryptoway takes from 0.3% per payment. There is no test mode, so add a 2 to 3 USD button, publish the page and pay it yourself. Normal fees apply.
